About
WoW Forever Forge is a talent planner for World of Warcraft: Forever. It does one job: plan a build, keep the order you picked it in, and share it.
Where the data comes from

- Exported

Read from the WoW Forever beta client, nothing filled in by hand. The beta can change before launch, and an older build link opens on the trees it was made on.

- Game build: 1.60.1.70707, the WoW Forever beta client.
- Exported: 2026-11-03.
- Classic baseline: Classic Era build 1.15.9.70576.
- Read from the client: talent trees, ranks and tooltips, trained spells and the level of each rank, racials, items for the gear planner and weapon comparer, recipes, dungeons, factions and the map.
- Patch notes: Blizzard's development notes (4 posts, the latest of 26 October 2026), quoted word for word and linked.
- Dates: only dates Blizzard confirmed, each linked to its post.
In this build: 465 talents and 466 trained spells across nine classes.
How a change from Classic is decided
Talents are matched to Classic by spell, then by name, including talents that moved to another tree. Then each one gets one of four labels:
- New in Forever (113): no Classic talent matches it.
- Changed (155): its values, its number of ranks or its name differ from Classic.
- Moved (140): the same effect, but a different place in the tree or a different requirement.
- Same (57): as in Classic.
80 Classic talents are no longer in any tree. A spell is new when Classic has no spell of that name for the class (55 in this build); a spell is changed when one of its ranks reads differently.
Pages are offered to search engines in stages, starting with the calculators, the spec hubs and the talents new in Forever. Pages about changed talents and new spells follow. Pages about moved or unchanged ones stay on the site but are marked noindex.
What we do not publish
- No numbers we cannot read from the data: no guessed formulas, drop rates, prices, experience tables or trainer costs. Those tools say Coming soon.
- No invented builds, tier lists or advice. Popular builds come only from builds counted on this site, and only once counting starts.
- No database record pages for items, quests or NPCs.
- No data recorded from play sessions: trainer locations, town services and sightings are left off the map.
- Nothing about you: no accounts, no cookies. Visits are counted by our own cookieless analytics; see Privacy.
The beta changes often, so a talent can change before launch. Every new page and every fixed number is dated on What's new.
Build links
A build lives in the address after the #, so it never reaches a server. The link carries the points and the order you
picked them in. When the talent trees change, older links are read on the trees they were made on and carried over, with a note
on what moved.
Data export
The talent data behind the calculators is free to read as JSON. Please credit wowforeverforge.com. Game data and names belong to Blizzard Entertainment.
/data.json: the index.version, build, exportedAt,classicBuild, andfiles.classes[]with each class'sslug, name, talentscount andurl./export/<class>.json, for example/export/warrior.json:class,cap(points at 60),levels(the level each point arrives), andtrees[]. Each tree hastalents[]withid, slug, name, rowandcol(from 0),maxRank,pointsInTree(points the tree needs first),requires(talent ids),requiresAny,icon(game file id),text(rank values joined as 1/2/3),perRank(one text per rank when they differ in more than numbers, else null),classic(new, changedorsame) andurl./talents.json: every talent of every class in one list:class, tree,id,slug, name, row, col, maxRank, classic, url.
The files change with each game build. A breaking change raises version.
Popular builds
Popular builds and pick rates come only from builds copied or saved on this site. The counter keeps no IP address and no cookie: only the build itself and a count per day. Until it runs, those pages say so instead of showing numbers.
