Privacy
Short version: no cookies, no accounts, no ads. We count visits without knowing who you are.
- No cookies, no ads, no accounts. The only script from another address is our own analytics, below.
- Saved builds and your last build are kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data removes them.
- A build link keeps the build after the
#, which browsers do not send to the server. - When the build counter is switched on, copying a link or saving a build sends the class, the build code, the tag you picked and nothing else. It stores no IP address and only the day, never the time.
- Analytics. We measure how the site is used with privacy-friendly analytics that we run on our own server in Canada
(the script loads from
analytics.conciergesdk.com); no analytics company receives your data. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so there is no consent banner. Your IP address is never stored: to count unique visitors we use a salted hash of your IP address and browser that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you. We record the pages you view, the site that referred you, your approximate location (country and city), your browser, operating system, device type and screen size, time on page, links you follow to other sites, and a few actions: copying or saving a build, publishing one, opening patch notes, planning an atlas route, sharing a gear list and opening a report. Never the build itself, its name or anything you type. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is recorded. Analytics data is kept for 25 months, after which only daily totals remain. - Reports. When you send "Report a wrong number", we store the page, the talent or spell you named, what you wrote, your source link if you gave one, your email and the time. Your email is used only to reply to that report and is never shown on the site. It is cleared from our database 90 days after the report; the rest of the report stays. Each report, with your email, is also posted to the owner's private inbox (a staff-only Discord channel) so we can check it; that copy is kept only as long as needed to handle the report. To limit reports to a few per hour, we keep a salted hash of your IP address and the hour, never the address itself; hashes of past hours are deleted as new reports come in.
- The web host may keep standard request logs (address, time, page), as every web server does.
